How To Find Clients on Neighbor Router

Well you are learning Hacking and the first thing which a best and top hacker dose is simply he collects information about its target from A to Z which not only helps him in hacking but also increases the chance to exploit the weakness , once you have the weakness of your target you can hit him right there at its weak point like someone said " You Miss I Hit "

In Many cases you will need to find information about the router , such as finding the active clients on router. and it is easy to find clients on router of which you are connected but what if you are not connected ? so in this little tutorial you will learn how can you find active clients on router and also their mac address.

How to know if clients are active on WiFi ?

To Do so simply disconenct your wifi and then start your monitor interface by typing the below command.
airmon-ng start wlan0

Now you have activated monitor interface on mon0 .

Now you will use wifite an automated wifi analyzing and pen-testing tool for this , type
wifite

now wait for few seconds and it will show you the access points , their information and also if there are clients on the network it will show you by marking the AP with client or clients which means it have active client or clients such as in below picture.

As you can see it marked my first access point with client which means it have one active client on the router and if it have more than one client it will type clients.

Now How to find MAC Address of the Clients ?

To Find the MAC Address of the clients you will simply type the below command
airodump-ng mon0
Now this command will display all the Access points in your range as you can see in the below picture and wait for at least 2 minutes after 2 minutes press space bar to pause and then below their will be a category named " Stations " which will display the Mac address of the clients who are connected to the specific network such as in below picture

Now Match the BSSID from the top and then look forward toward the " station " which is the MAC Address of the client connected to that Access point.

This is how you can analyze the active clients and their MAC Address via kali linux because in many cases such as in dos attack you need the mac of the client to perform dos attack so it is a necessary informational tutorial and i have somthing special on the right side of my blog check the popular tutorials.
